Billy Walker is an FCA appointed representative and independent finance broker based in Guildford, Surrey, with over 20 years of experience in the asset finance sector.

Starting his career at Barclays and working across several leading brokerages, Billy has built deep market knowledge and relationships with 100+ lenders, all of which he puts to work for his clients.

Starting out at Barclays

“When I began my career in the Asset Finance sector at Barclays, I was mainly focused on assisting the bank’s clients with loans for vehicles and equipment. At the time, I had no idea of the sheer number of lenders operating in the market.

Learning the market

Over the next eleven years, I gained experience working for several finance brokerages, allowing me to develop a comprehensive understanding of the market. I discovered the vast number of lenders eager to provide funding, each with their unique guidelines, interest rates, specialisations, and business preferences.

Since launching Source Asset Finance in 2015, we are now well-equipped to draw upon our extensive knowledge to assist our clients in securing the funding they require to operate successfully and expand their businesses.
